Hope they get better soon Zola and you manage to avoid it.

Great update, :clapping: :popcorn2: I love those memory shots, they really do help separate the past from the present. And yes I am a student of the Zolabee method of object placement. :giggle2: Love how we get to share ideas here. :sillysqueeze:

Have you guys tried to get vaccinated for it yet? I know that here in Ontario it's available starting Monday... If you work in a school, you know as well as I do how important it is to protect yourself from nasty bugs like that.

ETA: I'm a ninny and forgot to add that the story is great! I like the memory shots too.. very neat!

I've had the seasonal which they say provides a little protection since all influenza has certain things in common, but the only ones getting the H1N1 are the smaller school children. None is available to the general population yet. By the time they get around to making it available, most people will have had it. Last month one in every child had it. It went through my classroom like wildfire.

We still haven't received the vaccine at Walgreens and they told us it was suppose to show up last Monday. I keep crossing my fingers, so far i have avoided the flu altogether. I hope your son and husband feel better soon, Zolabee

Everyone seems slightly better this morning. If they will take care of themselves we will be okay as long as I don't catch it. *shudders at the thought*

Part 3…

The time was set for Pauline and her grandfather to come and visit. Her father was not to know –per her insistence that he had been traumatized enough. Steve went about telling Jill about the situation and letting her know at least to some extent what was going on. She had mixed feelings about the whole thing and told him that she didn’t think it was such an emergency as to rush a marriage.

He thought to his self that the family was not losing Pauline. They had kept few women over the years but, the ones they kept were worth all the trouble they went through to get them and he had a feeling about her. Hopefully they paired her up with the right one. That would be the tricky part. Over the years he had learned not to ignore either his own or Jill’s feelings. Canny would describe how accurate those feelings turned out to be.

Twins – Thad, Theo and their younger brother, Janson, each had an agenda in coming to their Uncle Steve. It wouldn’t have been quite so bad except they each were uncontrollable by anyone but their parents and Uncle Steve. Aunt Jill didn’t even bother. She would just look at you in a way that let you know that you had greatly disappointed her and sigh. Unfortunately with them – she did that a lot. It curtailed their antics more than they would ever admit. College had been a struggle for Janson and Theo. It was a miracle they had graduated at all. Their time was spent more investigating all the different ways to make a female scream…

in pleasure, drinking and partying as they went.

Only Thad excelled in his studies and yet he did his share in researching females… for the educational value you know.

Unfortunately, for the poor girls, all they were left with were memories and certain other responsibilities. Not one of the guys even gave them a passing thought as other things had long since hit their radar.

The Broke boys had been reveling in hedonistic pursuits

– going where they wanted – chasing whomever they desired. The thrill had been uplifting and now their uncle, Steve, tells them it is time for one of them to settle. That conversation had not been pretty. Surely, this Pauline person had bewitched their uncle for him to suggest such a sacrilege as to settle down with ONE woman. Even he was well known for his… indiscretions, let’s just say. Maybe he was trying to pawn some slut and her bastard off on them. The conundrum had the three puzzled. Steve had to be up to something. The days leading up to the meeting the three puzzled, plotted and planned to rebel all the while spending their leisure time visiting women that they knew had connections with the family… and some that didn’t. All too soon the big day arrived.

I "borrowed" her idea here. Sometimes those multishots say more than each individual shot. I've done double shots before, but she gave me the idea to put even more together. AND... I don't even know who the "lucky" guy is since they haven't met quite yet. :giggle2:

Excellent, Zola. None of them sound like marriage fodder.

I'm also wondering who will end up marrying her. I hope whoever it is doesn't hurt her too badly :nervous:

Good one zola! :ilikeit: I can't wait to see who Pauline ends up with either - and I have a feeling that Steve isn't wrong about her and that whoever it is she will give as good as she gets... :thumbwinky:

Pauline is a unique individual for sure... I expect that she will have those young men tied in knots not knowing which way to turn - and I'm hoping that it will be interesting. We'll see.

Trif, I'm trying to rely more on the words and less on the pictures so the pictures have to "say" a whole lot. We'll see how that goes - and I'm playing with my photoshop 5 also to see what I can come up with. I do like the way you frame your pictures and am hoping to figure out how to do something similar with mine... *hoping it's possible*
