Here is Pine Island. I didn't intend to build this one but I was playing around with the sculpting tools and suddenly there is was. If you like to play worlds with a big population you won't like this one. There are only 26 residential lots. Ten have houses on them. Most of the lots are 30x30, 20x30. There is no Custom content and no EA houses included with this world.

You will need the latest patch and the WA exp pack.

All ten houses included have been tested and the carpools work. Trees have been planted on the vacant lots so you will need to bulldoze lots before you place new houses. This has turned out to be my favorite world, I'm actually playing it.

My save file with 26 residents was 3.9 mb and memory usage is high 700's low 800's mb. Performance is very good even with all of the trees.

This will have to be my new world (when I get to it). It is so pretty and I actually have a local recreational feature called Pine Island nearby. I don't think it is quite as pretty as your creation but then I don't suppose your's has the odd wombat.

Played this last night while testing my teens mods and I love it already! Took me a few minutes to realize there wasn't an Military Base though. Don't need one for the way I play, so I wasn't bothered by it. The carpool works, the schools work, everything seems to work great.

I'm glad it's working well for you. The Military base and the Spa are not included. When I built it I put down all of the roads with out adding lots. Then I added the lots. This gives it a more random look. I just couldn't find a place for all of the rabbit holes.

If you really need a military base you can put one under the stadium.

Richdre, I noticed a problem. None of my kids are going to school. It says school isn't in session for 1 day, 1 hour although it's 8am on Monday. I haven't tried replacing the school or re-enrolling them, that may fix it. Just wanted you to know.

I have been playing this hood for two days and everyone is going to school. This is from four different houses. Did you switch households or reset the lot or do anything special? What's the street address of the house?

It's ok. I think it will be some time before I get around to it. I have set up Smugglers Cove as my next hood. I don't know if I will ever be able to graduate from it, alternating with Montego Bay. They are both just about perfect in size and beauty as far as I'm concerned.

I switched lots twice. It happened in both houses, but I don't know the addresses. I'll get them for you the next time I play. I know for sure, one house was one I added.

Apparently the kids not going to school was either a fluke or related to SP. I updated SP this morning and all the kids went to school fine. Sorry for the false alarm!
