Technically nine houses but actually 3 houses and each are available on 3 different lot sizes. :titter: If you really want to be picky, it's actually 3 different versions of one house. :fnorky: I built the 2x2 versions first and I liked them so much that I wanted to have them on 2x4 lots as well. Then I figured I might as well build them on 2x3 lots while I was at it.

It's kind of hard to see in the pics but all have the back fence in the same place. On the 2x3 & 2x4 lots, the trees were placed on the other side of the fence, as if they weren't part of the yard. I wanted to keep the same look of the house & yard for all three lot sizes.

Requires: probably all the TS2 EPs. *has all the EPs & SPs*

Your both welcome! :armflowers: :cheese: :flarts:

Does anyone want houses on a particular size lot? I normally build when I need/want houses on certain sized lots, but there are times when I'm just in a building mood and I'm not sure what size lots to use.

I'd like to fill out my house collection using different sized lots but if I know someone really likes a certain size, I'd have more of a reason to build more on that size. I don't do requests for 'special' houses (like to a plan) but if I know someone is in need of houses on XxX sized lots and/or with X amount of bedrooms, then I tend to keep that in mind when I get in my building moods. So speak up! ;)

Ooo I like these! These will be on my snagging list once I'm sorted

I like houses that have 5 or 6 bedrooms since I tend to have big families, so the houses you already build are great for me :D

I wasn't really sure how well this 'set' would go over, seeing as they are all pretty much the same houses. I liked the idea of having them on different sized lots though and with a little redecorating they can be suitable for any class of sims. Crappy siding on them would give them that rundown look suitable for poor sections that were once nicer. :)

I love how you do similar houses, it's quite realistic really, when house builders here do a series of houses they often look similar, or when the housing trust build low cost housing they tend to stick to a couple of designs. We live in an ex housing trust home and all the houses along our street are the same or similar.

I love how you have done the stairs in these! :cheese:

I think it's the same all over the world. I've seen quite a few areas that have same/similar houses. I love the spiral stairs! It's easier to fit them in and they work well and take up less space and don't block the view like most of the other stairs do. :sillysqueeze:

Thanks for sharing these.

Having nice size home on 2X2 lots is very appreciated. And they are well designed, what more could I ask for!

Yes, I like the smaller lots because I don't tend to use gardens very much :D

I use the extra backyard space on _x4 lots for trees and stuff because if they are on a Lot, then you can see them from other Lots (unlike a lot of hood decoration). They also give me room for a pool or a pond. Now that I have quite a few _x4 lots, I don't mind doing more 2x2 and 2x3 lots. I want to do more 3x1 lots also.

When I make my next new terrains, I want to be able to do some roads closer together, which I couldn't really have when I was only going to be using _x4 lots. With a nice selection of different sized lots, I can make more interesting terrains. :)

I check out of curiosity, since you asked what lot sizes we would love to have more of, which I am using the most.

In my case it is 2X2, 2X3, 3X2 or 3X3 that are the most common. I do not tend to use larger lots since it used to slow down my game especially if they were more then 2 floors. It does not happen that much anymore since I have a better computer and video card now but it is a force of habit. I was never much into basement either.

As for back or front yard space, as long as I do have space to put a telescope and a small area to put a BBQ and table for 4, put a driveway up front (mostly on 3X2 or 3X3 lots) and either a small garden, play toys for kids or a pond in the backyard or the side of the lot I am happy. Trees are optional; I tend to delete them if I need the space for other stuff so decoration is not a priority for me. I like to put flowers and bushes around my houses though since I am using TJ perfect garden mod.

When it comes to 2 story houses, I really take a deep look at how it is design since I hate for my Sims to takes an hour to walk from their second floor bedroom to the first floor kitchen or TV that is on the first floor. Not all my Sims are active enough so they can run there.

Like you, on the Goth house lot, I removed the 3rd and 4th floor since I saw no use for them other then to slow down my Sims.

So if you still feel like building, I would be more then happy you create more houses on small lots. It is not an "official" request but for sure if you make some, I will download them. :thumbwinky:

I do use larger lots when it comes to community lots but still try to keep them at a reasonable size.

*adds to her note* :ok:

I think the 6 new 3x2 base-game compatible houses I just posted (and some of the other new ones), will fit most of your wants except for space for a driveway, although some of them should have enough room for one. :) My sims rarely get cars now that they can walk so I don't often think to leave room for driveways.
I hate basements in TS2 so you won't ever see them in my houses. :hehehe:

I also dislike it when it takes a sim forever to get somewhere. When I build second floors, I try to keep them compact.

oh thanks I did not notice you posted new lots, you must have been reading my mind lol. I will surely go check them.

I must say I mainly make my sims "walk to" places too since that option was added in FT? but I do like for some to have a driveway so they can restore cars if they happen to have the tinkering hobby. But then again not all of my tinkering sims are restoring cars, mostly on 3X3 lots I give them this opportunity since there is more space for that.

You are just too sweet. :armflowers:

Edit: If you are to add more flowers and bushes just remember not all of us have the mansion and garden stuff pack. :whistling: And I downloaded all the 3X2 houses you just added. :) Thanks for sharing those.
